About

Angel sees children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, domestic violence, post-traumatic stress disorder, anger, substance abuse, and disabilities. He works with children who have social and school problems including self-esteem, social anxiety, and parental divorce concerns. He works with blended families and step-parenting issues.  He also specializes in working with children and adults who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and are visually impaired/blind.


Angel’s therapeutic style is empathetic, respectful, and genuine. He believes that therapy is a wonderful opportunity for a person to explore themselves in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. He encourages an individual to enhance their self-awareness, change maladaptive behaviors, reduce irrational thinking, and improve decision making abilities. He provides services in English and Spanish and insures complete and total confidentiality.


Angel was born in Puerto Rico and came to the US at age five. He is the youngest of three boys and lost his sight at age thirteen. He had to deal with significant grief, anger, and anxiety. He has learned to cope and believes that his personal experience helps him understand and work with people who have depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem issues. Clients are inspired by Angel’s ability to counsel and move forward in living a positive and healthy lifestyle.
