About

Sharon works with children as young as five, teens, and adults. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance abuse, LGBTQ, anger management, trauma / PTSD, stress, domestic violence victims, ADHD, and divorced and blended families. She works with children who have ADHD, behavioral problems.


Sharon is certified in Adoption Competency and Therapeutic Foster Care. Her therapeutic approach is Philosophy of Care.


Sharon has eleven years of experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. Sharon has experience working with a variety of mental health issues, including substance/alcohol abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, women's issues, family, and LGBTQI. Sharon completed her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College of Massachusetts, Tampa Bay campus. She utilizes psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral, realistic, and strength-based approaches to therapy, always maintaining creativity, flexibility, and awareness to meet the needs of every individual. Sharon looks forward to developing a compassionate, collaborative, and productive relationship with you to overcome the challenges you face and develop a healthy, happier life.


Sharon loves reading, quiet walks to reflect, and spending time with family. She has faced challenges, as we all do, and has turned her experiences into an opportunity to walk others through the healing process, the process to reconnect with themselves and achieve their goals. Sharon's philosophy on life's challenges: "HOPE - Hold On Pain Ends" and "COURAGE - to walk through the pain" "BELIEVE - in yourself" "FAITH - trust the process."
